Joker Seat Clinic – Conscious Riding Starts with the Rider

A horse can only move freely when the rider allows it. This requires more than simply “sitting up straight” or “keeping your hands still.” It calls for body awareness, balance, timing, and feel. These exact elements are at the heart of our Joker Seat Clinic, which we organize several times a year.

During this clinic, you will receive a 45-minute private combination lesson on our western Joker: EH BlackJack Balance Master. A unique experience where you, the rider, are the focus — without the distraction of a live horse, yet with direct and honest feedback.

What does the lesson include?

Each lesson consists of several elements and is fully tailored to you as an individual rider:

Riding on Joker (horse simulator)
You will experience walk, trot, and canter and feel exactly how your posture and movement influence the ride.

Targeted rider exercises on Joker
Designed to improve balance, coordination, timing, and relaxation.

Optional additional exercises on the ground
Specifically selected to suit your body and personal focus points.

Personal focus points on paper
So you can continue working on your posture, movement, and body use at home — both in the saddle and in everyday life.

This lesson offers not only insight, but above all feel. And that is what makes lasting change possible.

Joker the horse simulator was developed to improve awareness and the quality of the rider’s movement, directly contributing to the overall well-being of the horse.

BlackJack moves:

This makes him extremely smooth and realistic. Joker does not compensate like a real horse does. He mirrors your movement exactly.
Do you move correctly? Then it feels like riding a real horse.
