Description
This correction bit by Classic Equine has a 12,7 mouthpiece with copper inlays. This cheek style has a 2-1/2” purchase with a 5” shank. The shank is swept back like offering more leverage.
Taller port creates more palate
pressure. Mouthpiece applies increased pressure to the sides of the tongue. Designed for
finished, well broke horses of all disciplines.
Sweet iron will rust when it comes into contact with (air) humidity; the surface rust tastes sweet and naturally stimulates the saliva production. This will cause the horse to salivate more which in turn encourages better acceptance of the bit. The rusting process (oxidation) changes the colour of the bit to a brownish-grey.
A beginning of this oxidation process may already be visible when purchasing a new bit.
