Don Boyd has been a National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) open rider for almost 40 years. During this time he has been trained in the US and Europe and has been an NRHA World Champion twice. From 2010 he started concentrating on giving clinics and judging training events. He has coached World Futurity, Derby and FEI Champions in the US as well as in Europe.
