Cuttinup Show Blankets were the first to put fit at the forefront. When weavers said their contour patterns were too complex to produce, Cuttinup refused to settle. There had to be a way—and they made it happen.
Unlike flat blankets made on automatic looms, each Cuttinup Contoured Show Blanket is crafted on traditional handlooms by highly skilled artisans. This allows the blanket’s signature contoured shape to be built into the weave itself. The result? A slightly looser, softer, more flexible blanket that drapes beautifully and fits like nothing else on the market.

Most designs are capped at 50 blankets total — 35 Twiggy sizes and 15 Chiquita sizes.

Some patterns are produced in quantities as low as 20 Twiggys and 5 Chiquitas.
These blankets are truly handmade, not mass-produced items. Dimensions listed are minimums, and a variance of up to one inch is allowed as weavers finish each design. Yarn colors may vary slightly between dye lots. Minor imperfections or small differences are simply a hallmark of genuine artisan craftsmanship.
